How did you get started in PPC?
I had studied business management with marketing in university and applied for a digital marketing position once finished and specialised in PPC.
If you went to college, what did you study? If not college, do you have any other degrees or certifications?
In college I studied business BTEC and in university I studied business management along with marketing.
What was your first job that involved PPC?
I applied for a PPC specialist in Cardiff and got the job!
What is your current position and how long have you been in it?
I am the PPC specialist in a company in Swansea for Web Marketer.
What kinds of things do you currently handle or manage in PPC?
I responsible for the daily checks, negative keywords, bid strategies, optimisation, reporting and overall account management and performance.
Has your career path had any hiccups or nontraditional aspects that you’d like to share?
No, everything has been great to date.
What are you most proud of in your PPC career?
I was self-taught within the industry at my first job role. I continue to learn and grow as a PPC specialist, always wanting to achieve great results for myself, the company and the clients.
What, if anything, do you wish you could “do over” in your PPC career?
Nothing – I’m on a journey and want to continue to grow.
If you could give advice to someone either considering or just starting out in PPC, what would that be?
It’s a forever changing and growing industry and it’s important to always want to learn and know the latest updates.

I’ve never done it before, but would like to give it a go and attempt to speak about account performance and metrics.
